MCQST awarded the Distinguished Lecturer Award to Andreas Wallraff, who is a Full Professor for Solid State Physics in the Department of Physics at ETH Zurich. The prize acknowledges scientific achievements in the field of quantum science and technology, as well as a high commitment to communicate recent developments in their respective fields to a broader public.

During his visit in June 2023 in Munich, Andreas Wallraff offered three different talks, targeted to various audiences: a talk for the public interested in quantum computing, a colloquium for the local scientific community, as well as a more specialized seminar for researchers working in the same field.
