1. Briefly describe your current position/project, research focus, and your role within MCQST.
I completed my doctorate using quantum sensors in diamond (the famous nitrogen vacancy centers) to perform nanoscale magnetic resonance spectroscopy on surfaces and interfaces. Currently, I am working for a startup, QuantumDiamonds to commercialize these quantum sensors.
2. You were one of the Slammers in this year's Quantum Science Slam. What was that experience like?
I really enjoyed the Science Slam experience. I learned to ask questions to make sure the audience of any background are engaged and understand what I would like to communicate.
3. Do you have any special or unique holiday traditions?
San Diego usually had sunny weather on December 25th, so my family loves to go hiking!
