Tell us a little about yourself — your research interests, the group you work in, and how long you have been in your current position.
I am working in the group of Menno Poot, and am almost two years into my PhD now. I am working on integrated optomechanics.
What motivates you to apply as a PhD representative?
Already in my studies I was part of the student union and liked working there, having more insight in how university works. Also it is important to have a representation for PhD students, so our opinion can be heard.
Tell us about your current research work and what excites you most about it.
Currently I am working on optimizing an integrated optomechanical resonator for synchronization.
