Opening of the "Light & Matter" Exhibition

Since the start of the 20th century, scientists have discovered new phenomena in the interaction between light and matter, phenomena that challenge our intuition but can be understood through the principles of quantum physics.

The exhibition "Light and Matter" offers a fascinating overview of quantum optics and showcases how our understanding of light and matter has evolved over the past century. It also provides an introduction to the cutting-edge world of quantum sciences and technologies, which are currently the focus of intense research.

We are thrilled to launch this exhibition with distinguished guests and to offer an engaging program to mark the occasion on 18 June 2024, from 6:30 PM. "Light and Matter" is a project created by the Deutsches Museum, with support from the Cluster of Excellence Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology.
