IMPRS / MQC / MCQST Meeting

Principal investigators from IMPRS-QST, the Munich Quantum Center (MQC), and the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST) are meeting for a General Assembly on Monday, 20 Januray 2020.

We use this opportunity to bring the PhD students and Postdocs of our projects together as well, inviting them to contribute a poster at the meeting.

In the afternoon, the public program kicks off with talks by new IMPRS/MQC/MCQST members and applicants. Afterwards, we invite everyone to attend the catered poster session for an exchange of ideas on current research projects or future projects.

3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: Get-together over coffee, start of public part

3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: "Quantum Applications and Research Laboratory (QAR-Lab) at LMU Munich" by Claudia Linnhoff-Popien and Sebastian Feld

4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: "Integrated Photonics for Quantum Simulations" by Jasmin Meinecke (MCQST START fellow)

4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: "Majorana Fermions in Quantum Spin Liquids" by Johannes Knolle (TUM)

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Posters session with finger food and drinks
