Munich Conference on Quantum Science and Technology 2025
The Munich Conference on Quantum Science and Technology 2025 (MCQST 2025) brings together the Munich quantum community with international invited guests in academia and industry for three days of talks and poster sessions. Join us in the charming town of Kufstein on 3-6 June 2025 to exchange ideas, learn about innovative research, and discuss the latest advancements in all fields of quantum science and technology.

Mission
Scientific exchange is a cornerstone of a researcher’s life and lies at the heart of our growing community. For the sixth edition of the conference, we are revisiting last year's location, Sonthofen – the southernmost town in Germany, nestled in the foothills of the Alps. The mission of MCQST 2024 is to engage our community with selected guests who are leaders in their field, create networking opportunities, and strengthen the international QST community on all career levels.
The conference covers all areas of quantum science, such as Quantum Information Theory, Quantum Simulation, Quantum Computing, Quantum Communication, Quantum Metrology and Sensing, Quantum Matter, and Explorative Directions (bridging quantum science and technology with high-energy physics, quantum gravity, cosmology, or quantum chemistry).
IMPRS-QST Summer School
The IMPRS-QST summer school preludes the MCQST 20245 conference. PhD students arrive in Kufstein on 2 June 2025 to hold their annual summer retreat. Starting Tuesday evening, the IMPRS-QST students join the MCQST 2025 conference.
