Goals and Content
- Understand the concept of allyship and its significance in academia and leadership, with insights from research.
- Explore the benefits of allyship in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, such as increased innovation, stronger collaboration, and improved team dynamics.
- Strengthen agency and confidence in addressing discrimination.
- Reflect on personal roles, self-image, and the interplay of privileges and diversity characteristics.
- Develop practical interventions and simple strategies to foster team cultures centred on community and belonging.
About the Trainer: Dr. Ulrike Schneeberg
Ulrike Schneeberg, PhD, is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF) and trainer with a focus on caring and honest communication to improve (self-)leadership in research systems. She holds a PhD in American Literature and has six years of international experience: France (Sorbonne), UK (University of Cambridge) and Canada (Université de Montréal).
