Join us in celebrating the 2025 Year of Quantum at the Deutsches Museum!

Join us for an exciting weekend as we celebrate the 2025 Year of Quantum Science and Technology! Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of quantum physics, meet leading researchers, and get a glimpse into their daily work. Discover the latest breakthroughs in quantum communication and cryptography and explore how these technologies are shaping the future.

One of the highlights of the event is the "Light and Matter""Light and Matter" exhibit—the first of its kind in the world—developed by the Deutsches Museum in collaboration with MCQST. Step inside and uncover the astonishing effects that occur when light and matter interact.

Inside the exhibition, at the MCQST booth, dive into cutting-edge quantum research. Since its opening in June 2024, the exhibit has spotlighted quantum computing, but for this special occasion, the focus shifts to quantum communication and cryptography—a field revolutionizing secure information transfer.

Beyond the exhibition, engage with hands-on quantum experiments at dedicated booths hosted by MCQST, Munich Quantum Valley, PhotonLab, the Quanten(t)räume project, and PushQuantum. Whether you're a quantum enthusiast or a curious newcomer, there’s something for everyone!

Most program is in German, however some parts will be in English.
