MCQST 2025 - Venue and Fees
The 7th Munich Conference on Quantum Science and Technology takes place in Kufstein, Austria, 3 - 6 June 2025.
Attendance for all MCQST & IMPRS-QST members is covered by MCQST. We welcome external guests, however they will need to cover the accommodation and conference costs themselves directly at the conference venue.
MCQST members
All participation costs for MCQST members (affiliated with an MCQST group) are covered by the cluster.
Please note: There are not enough rooms for each person to have their own single room. Please plan to share your room when possible. For MCQST groups, we strongly recommend that you coordinate this with your colleagues.
External attendees
External participants need to cover their own accommodation, directly at the conference venue. See prices below, under Accommodation.

Scientific talks, networking, and poster sessions—offering numerous opportunities for scientific exchange and presenting your work—will take place in the beautiful Stadtsaal Kufstein, located within the Hotel Andreas Hofer.
Kufstein Fortress
On Wednesday afternoon, we will hold a special session at Kufstein Fortress. The program begins with guided tours, followed by a celebratory conference dinner at the fortress—an excellent opportunity to network with fellow participants in a unique historical setting.
Accommodation
MCQST has reserved a block of rooms at the main conference venue, Hotel Andreas Hofer, as well as at the neighboring Hotel Stadt Kufstein.
Please note that the hotel booking is managed by the conference organizers. We will book your accommodation according to the information provided by you in the registration form. We will inform you in which hotel you will stay by mid-May 2025.

Getting to Kufstein, Austria
Kufstein is easily accessible by rail and is just 1 to 1.5 hours from Munich by train or car.
Trains depart from Munich Central Station every hour. BRB trains accept the Deutschland Ticket (if available), while RJ trains are slightly faster but not covered by the Deutschland Ticket.
The venue, along with both hotels, is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Kufstein train station.
Participants are responsible for organizing their own travel.
Please note that the conference takes place in Austria, so make sure you have the appropriate travel visa.
